Cloud consultant
A cloud consultant is versatile and evangelises cloud usage, growing the cloud maturity level of the organisation, creating business cases and translating customer demand to the optimal cloud solution. Where necessary, they also contribute to the creation of documentation. Usually, the cloud consultant is the first point of contact for the business.

A cloud consultant:

Has in-depth knowledge of different cloud concepts and follows the development of cloud technology (for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) closely

Has the business needs in mind and strives to achieve them by using cloud technology

Has the advisory skills to proactively advise both business and cloud development teams on (new) cloud technology

Is always up to date with cloud developments and transmits them to the organisation

Has the ability to switch quickly between –and bring together- business development teams and external cloud suppliers
